Lippert Components uses SolidWorks™ 3D engineering software.

SolidWorks’ 360° model rotation allows us greater visibility during the design phase which leads to higher quality and less issues during production.  LCI also utilizes SmarTeam™, a Product Data Management system (PDM) which fully documents all product changes within SolidWorks.  Any part change, comment and all conversations regarding the product are documented and archived within the PDM. This ensures the utmost precision on our products and helps assure our customers that they will be receiving their product up to specification.

SmarTeam gives LCI/Kinro product revision capabilities whereas SolidWorks out of the box does not.  SmarTeam has an integrated Quality Management System (QMS) which allows us to capture any outstanding ECN’s with damaged/defected parts.  These ECN’s are then quarantined until the issue is resolved.  At LCI, we take as many steps and provisions as possible to assure that our customers are satisfied with the products they receive.
